He is the founder and partner of Chin & Associates, a solicitor firm in Hong Kong. He obtained his law degree in UK, and he was admitted to the roll of solicitors of the High Court in Hong Kong in 1998 and has been in private practice ever since. In addition to his qualification as a SOLICITOR, he is also a Registered Engineer in Canada, UK and Hong Kong. He is also a Certified Tax Adviser in Hong Kong.
For the past 20 years, he has been accumulated rich experience in criminal litigation, matrimonial disputes, immigration law and commercial law. He has extensive experience with criminal cases which involve homicide/murder, sexual assault, fraud, and bribery. Furthermore, he handles a vast array of matrimonial disputes, those of which include civil celebrant, divorce, maintenance, child custody, and property distribution.
He has been or currently is Member of Independent Police Complaints Council, Appointed Governor of Health Level Seven (HL7) Hong Kong (Hospital Authority), Adjudicator of the Obscene Articles Tribunal, Honorary Legal Adviser of International Police Association (IPA) Hong Kong Section, Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of HK and Honorary Member of the Court of HKBU. He is the Hon Legal Adviser of our Association currently.
