Important Notice:
Due to increasing societal demand for Certified Chinese Internal Auditors (CCIA), our association now provides multiple pathways for members to upgrade to CCIA membership according to our constitution:

Complete and pass courses and examinations from our association or recognized educational institutions, approved internal audit or related professional accounting associations (i.e., Certified Chinese Internal Auditor); and have three years of relevant internal and external audit work experience;

Hold a practicing certificate from recognized professional accounting associations and internationally recognized professional certified public accountant practicing certificates; with five years of relevant internal or external audit work experience;

Hold Hong Kong recognized professional certified public accountant qualifications without a practicing certificate, but have ten years of experience in internal audit, external audit, and related corporate governance, financial management, or financial services governance;

Have ten years of work experience in internal audit, external audit, financial services, securities industry, banking services, company secretary, legal and related consulting industries; and pass enhancement courses in internal audit organized by our association or recognized institutions;

Complete three course modules with HKU Space, meeting requirements of [minimum 70% attendance] and [passing examinations] to obtain ACIA-CCIA certified internal auditor qualification
Upgrade to CCIA Membership Required Documents and Procedures:
- Submit completed CCIA membership upgrade application form (Download Form)
- Submit an updated supplementary qualification resume (if updated)
- Pay an upgrade fee of $2,000 (Non-recurring fee)

Note: All submitted documents must be certified by a certified public accountant, notary public, or lawyer
